Acting Up: Activism and Effecting Change When It Feels Like Everything Is On Fire

Speakers: Deja Foxx, Sofia Ongele,
Ileri Jaiyeoba
Moderator: Julianne Skrivan

Does it feel like the world is on fire and it’s up to us to fix it, but you also don’t know where to start and what will actually make a difference? Yeah, same. There’s a ton of pressure on Gen Z to be the change we wish to see in the world, from climate change to racial justice to reproductive rights and on and on. We’re up to the challenge, but we’re also being realistic–about the pressure and burden we feel as activists, and how it can all be exhausting and overwhelming–and that’s okay. Join us in this session to learn more about actions you can take that actually effect change at every level and hear directly from peers who have done something about it. - Watch Here!
